Hi, I’m Dustyn Roberts. By day, I teach students about mechanical engineering at the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia, where I live with my partner, two kids, and two cats. On the side, I teach people about money. Everyone who finished 8th grade has the math skills to manage their money confidently, but most of us don’t. That’s where Fiscal Therapy comes in. I am a YNAB Certified Budgeting Coach, which means that I have been trained to coach people on using YNAB software and the YNAB budgeting method. You are not required to use YNAB to be a client of mine, but I will certainly encourage it.

If you’re ready to jump in, I offer two main ways to engage:
- Hourly: $125/hour
- We can use this hour however you want. Common topics include budgeting, saving and high-yield savings accounts, overall money management, debt paydown strategies and tools, investing, taxes, and financial independence/retire early (FIRE) topics.
- YNAB Set Up Package: $450
- First session (90 minutes) – we’ll set you up on YNAB together, customize categories, add accounts, create targets, and generally set you up for success
- Second session (90 minutes) – we’ll check on your progress since our first session, reconcile all accounts, and update your budget. Then we’ll go into setting up repeating bills and handling credit cards.
- Third session (60 minutes) – we’ll check on your progress again and make sure you know how to reconcile accounts, assign money, and manage credit cards on your own. I’ll point you toward YNAB help resources you can use going forward if you get stuck, and we’ll discuss next steps.
